HSBC vs Chinese Tea

Haven't written anything for quite a long time.

Today, while I tasted my yummy herb tea, TV was showing the interesting news about the Chairman of HSBC has been relocated from UK to HK and started developing their business focus in Asia. The reporter asked him what would be the first thing he would like to do in the new office in HK. The Chairman replied, "To have a cup of Chinese tea, not English tea. It was for yesterday!!" That was an interesting Q&A but it reflected the significance of the Chinese and Asian market in the world. Strong bank such as HSBC needs to focus their business in Asia and even the Chairman has to move back to HK.

What a wonderful world. Let’s cheers with our CHINESE TEA!

Oolong tea

I just came back from Guangzhou and I have bought some Oolong tea: Ginseng Oolong tea with me this time.
The flavor and aroma I loved so much. And I learned that this is very good for health and for lose weight. I tried to drink everyday in the morning and hopes some weight can be lose together with eating less.

Oolong tea has been described as "Yu Xiang Hui Wei " as it goes through so many different production stages in order to generate a good flavor and aroma. The tea consists of several dozens of kinds of leaves that have different flavors and aromas due to differences in the leaves, the production area, and the harvest time. Among them, Tie Guan Yin, Shui Xian, and Oolong are well known, and many renowned oolong teas are produced in Fujian Province. Oolong tea produced in the Province is exported throughout the world as the tea that is representative of China, the home of tea.

Teas contain a number of ingredients that have an influence on the human body. The quantities and percentages of these ingredients differ widely depending on the extent of fermentation. As can be seen from the table below, green tea contains a wealth of one ingredient called catechin while black tea contains a lot of theaflavin. Oolong tea contains a large quantity of polyphenol. According to research, it has become clear that polyphenol is the ingredient that generates the delicious flavor unique to oolong tea and also promotes beauty and health.
